Full of Hot Air

During the month of May, I had one of the greatest pleasures of going Hot Air Ballooning. It was a dream come true for me and I am so thankful that I can cross another item off of my Bucket List.

This basket looked so small, but it was just enough space for us to enjoy the beautiful sights from above!

We had to be wary of the cable cords ;-)

Saw a family of geese attempting to find shelter.

Here are some of the landscape views of the countryside and farmlands.

The instructor kindly pointed out the opportunity to capture reflections of the balloon in the water.

The balloon's shadow followed us all morning as the sun blazed above us.

 Our gorgeous balloooooon!

Nothing is so satisfying to me as breathing in the great outdoors! Hope you can cross something off of your bucket list too!

Blessings,

L.J. :-)

It's a Family Affair :-)

It warms my heart to see the warmth and love that emanates from a caring family. From the very beginning, I could see the evidence of their closeness. The children were so full of joy and life. The brothers followed their parents' directions and felt comfortable posing and interacting with each other.

The boys are very into athletics, and it shone through their energy and talents.

They truly enjoy spending time with each other.

Jay is such a great older brother!

Daddy's Little Girl!

The boys are showing mommy and daddy a lil' love :-)

They've been training Cameron for basketball at such a young age. You can see his skills by the way he handles the ball.

Love their form in these next shots!

She woke up from her nap and was ready for her celebrity debut :-)

She's going to need a lot of energy to keep up with her big brothers. Her brothers are so sweet. I know they'll be looking out for her as she grows up.

Matching Jordans!!!

Family is a precious gift! Hope you all enjoyed!

Blessings,

L.J. :-)

MLK Memorial

Had a chance to view the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. National Memorial, and it was magnificent. The day was gorgeous and the sun shone so proudly around his sculpture.

D.C. brings so much culture and recognition to American History. Every summer, I enjoy hopping on the metro and sightseeing the various memorials and monuments.

The Cherry Blossom Festival is always exciting as people from all over travel to admire the beauty of the blossoms. This year, they bloomed quite early, but the festivities and event still continued.

Hope you are able to venture out to D.C. and explore the capital for yourself!

Blessings,

L.J. :-)

High School Sweethearts Part 2

These two have been connected since high school but didn't start their relationship until after graduation.
I already had the privilege of shooting their engagement photos during the winter season; but soon, the warm weather broke through and it was time for a Part 2.

We chose a new location to do the photoshoot, and I absolutely loved the architecture and scenery that it provided.

Ron came straight from his league's baseball game (which his team won). Even after all of that playing, he was still ready to shine with his bride-to-be.

Seeing how in love they were, I had to ask how the famous question: "How did you propose?"

Ron was quite the romantic. He actually rented out an entire restaurant, so they could dine together alone.

After dinner, he led Deidre to the fireplace where he began to verbalize his deep love for her.

As the evening wore on, they strolled passed shops and cafes until they reached the water.

As they both gazed out into the waves, Ron presented the ring and his proposal to which she joyfully exclaimed, "Yes!"

May you both enjoy your new lives together! Congrats!

Blessings,

L.J. :-)
